Story

Start Up is an invaluable asset for me, and I am sure for many others in the community who have used its services. Start Up provides access to unlimited professional resources and support systems that give hope to budding entrepreneurs. The resources and support include workshops, seminars, and counseling from volunteers , college students, and staff who know how to work with new beginners who want to go into business, as well as individuals who have the desire and experience to become huge successes. 
 
Since being an athlete in high school, I have always had the dream or goal to become a businessman. All of my volunteer efforts in community and youth development here in the community before it was incorporated was a means to prepare me for this important moment to be successful.  I am married with three children, and remain an advocate for youth and community development.   
 
Besides being a native and lifelong resident still living in the community,  I am an ex-professional baseball player drafted out of high school, one  of the first local police officers hired by our new city, a successful motivational speaker and self-published author, a life coach and self esteem trainer using a curriculum I developed over a ten year period, and currently the CEO of a successful luxury transportation service based here in the city that serves corporate clients and celebrities throughout Northern California.  

As the owner of a successful livery service business, my intention is to earn a living to support my family, and use my experiences in youth and community development to support community philanthropy that will prepare the youth 9 to 18 for succeed ss.  As a  humanitarian my interest will always remain strong in the support of our youth in to encourage their life pursuit of happiness for academic and career goals, especially as it relates to business, science, technology and engineering.
